Hi, I’m Jakob
(that’s pronounced Yahkoub)
I play guitar, produce music, and create sounds.
I’ve played guitar for the first national tours of the Broadway shows Fun Home, A Night With Janis Joplin, and Bat Out Of Hell. I’ve worked with Postmodern Jukebox, Broadway Records, Carmen Cusack, Erich Bergen, Bill Whelan, Larry O'Keefe, The Hasty Pudding Theatricals, among many others. On Broadway I’ve played guitar in the pits of School Of Rock and Be More Chill. You might also catch me playing guitar for Bat Out Of Hell at New York City Center. I’m proud to be a Tanglewood Guitars artist. I’m a summa cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music and a recipient of the Berklee Achievement Scholarship. As a producer and guitarist I frequently work with Brooklyn based artist collective Apartment Sessions. I am proud to be a Tanglewood Guitars artist.
